And it starts: Holidaze 2013.

It’s been a stressful few days dealing with a household full of flu, but this afternoon we dug out the Christmas decorations, put on Home Alone and Christmas Vacation, and adorned the house with a little holiday cheer.   Thanksgiving is tomorrow, but our 3rd annual Americans in the UK Thanksgiving is Saturday, and we will be joined by more expat friends and family than ever before.  I love our growing collection of “special” ornaments, the amazing cloth advent calendar my mother-in-law made for Moo, and the warmth created by a thousand colourful lights. Linking with This or That Thursday.

I love this collection…though the mantle is my favorite…the light glow is a 2nd runner up! What a cozy little place…so comfortable looking.

Such a cozy home full of Christmas cheer! Love these images. There is a sweetness about them. Hope you are all on the mend and enjoy all the festivities. Moo is darling.

There is something magical about holiday lights and it makes for wonderful photos. Hopefully the flu has run its course and fun and enjoyment of the holidays can fill your house.

Your house looks so inviting! The lights glowing on the flooring — so warm and cozy. And the santa hat as a tree topper made me chuckle.
